Dr Anna Weighall

Dr Weighall is a Reader in Cognitive and Developmental Psychology at University of Sheffield.  She has conducted experimental research into the role of sleep in memory consolidation and learning.  She has also investigated sleep habits and bedtime routines in a large sample of adults and children.  She is interested in developing evidence based behavioural interventions to improve sleep for children and their families; and the role of sleep in typical and atypical cognitive development, including ADHD and paediatric narcolepsy.  She is a member of the executive committee for the British Sleep Society and the Experimental Psychology Society, and a member of the ESRS.
