Louise Berger
Louise Berger is an Occupational Therapist with over a decade of experience in behavioural sleep medicine. She founded and leads the outpatient Insomnia Clinic at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, one of only a few NHS services dedicated to insomnia. The clinic provides evidence‑based care for people experiencing chronic sleep difficulties, including insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, parasomnias, and sleep‑related breathing issues.
Louise brings a distinctive blend of clinical expertise, coaching skills, and psychological insight to her work supporting individuals to improve sleep.
Beyond her clinical role, Louise is an Associate Lecturer on the PG Cert in Sleep Medicine (UWE). She is a trustee of the British Society of Pharmacy Sleep Services, works as a Sleep Coach for BetterUp, and has recently been appointed a Professional Expert for the NICE guidelines on digital insomnia treatment.
