Hannah Williams

Hannah is a Senior Paediatric Sleep & Respiratory Physiologist at the Royal Brompton Hospital. She was awarded a BSc in Human Physiology and a Master of Research in Human Neuroscience from the University of Portsmouth. She has previously participated in interesting clinical cases at the BPSS video conferences online and has presented multiple scientific posters at the BSS conferences. Hannah has continuously been a strong advocate for children’s health and wellbeing, in particular the vital importance of sleep maintenance in young children and adolescences. To further her ability to deliver outstanding care to her patients in this field, she is undertaking her sleep practitioner qualification in the aid of supporting and distributing key information for families and carers in the wider community. In late 2020, Hannah published an article in the BSS newsletter, The Hoot, on a physiologist’s perspective on the COVID-19 pandemic. As of late 2023, Hannah was selected to join the BPSS committee board, as Lead Paediatric Sleep Physiologist.
