Victoria Cooper

Dr Vicky Cooper is a Consultant Clinical Scientist and service lead for the Sleep and Non-Invasive Ventilation Service at Salford Royal Hospital within the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. She is also the lead for sleep clinical teaching for the Scientific Training Programme (STP) at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Vicky has been  and continues to be an active member of the ARTP sleep committee since its inception (and past chair) and the OSA Alliance and has recently stepped down from being  ARTP-BSS liaison. Other professional contributions include contributing to the Ideal Sleep Pathway , Covid-19 taskforce and has been involved in curriculum writing for PTP and HSST.

Vicky is passionate about highlighting the profile of sleep professionals in the UK and improving education and training opportunities, as well as improving patient care. Her passion is in using lifestyle medicine to treat sleep disorders and she is currently studying for accreditation in lifestyle medicine
